Thames Festival 2006, London |
16th - 17th September 2006

|
On the weekend of the 16th and 17th September 2006, we set up our trapeze on the South Bank of the river Thames in London, in front of the Tate Modern museum. The Thames Festival free, outdoor celebration for London which commissions high-profile, cutting-edge arts events for unique environments on and around the river for one weekend every year.
Over 665,000 people came along to the event, and it was great to see so many people of all ages having a turn on the flying trapeze, many of them having the opportunity to make a catch! It was great to be able to fly in such a great location, and the view of the Thames and St Paul's Cathedral from the Platform was fantastic! |
