Gulf Air Grand Prix 2007, Bahrain |
12th - 15th April 2007
In April, we flew out with all our equipment to take part in the Bahrain Grand Prix 2007, sponsored by Gulf Air.
The race is held at the brand new, state of the air circuit in Sakhir, about 40mins from the capital Manama. We were located at the south-end of the Vending Area, next to the main grandstand from where we had an unobstructed view of the winners' podium. The area was lavishly appointed with cushions to relax on, coffee shops and Formula One merchandise.
The event spanned over four days, with the first three days being dedicated to warm-ups, qualifying and various support races such as GP2, Lumina and Porsche. The response to our activity was fantastic, and we attracted huge crowds, even during the racing!
