Are you looking for a unique activity to be the centrepiece of your festival or event? Red Hands Flying Trapeze provides fun and exciting trapeze workshops for everyone from 8 years.

Our equipment is large and impressive, and will not only thrill everyone who participates, but will attract crowds of spectators and be the highlight of any event.

If you are interested in offering flying trapeze at your event or festival, please get in contact with us . You can find a list of our technical requirements here .

We primarily offer two styles of participation, although we are happy to adapt our activity to suit your requirements:

Single Turns

Participants queue up for single turns on the trapeze on a first-come-first-served basis. Everyone gets a turn on the practice bar on the ground before climbing up for a go on the flying trapeze.

During the event, depending on numbers, we will give students who have successfully completed their 'trick' the opportunity to make a catch. These regular catching sessions often attract many spectators who cheer the students on.

This format has worked best for us at large events like Glastonbury and the Sheffield MayFest, since it gives a large number of people the opportunity to participate at least once.

Classes

Classes are best for smaller events, and allow each participant to have several turns on the trapeze within a time period. Each class lasts for two hours, with a maximum of ten people.

Our classes are designed to give your visitors the best learning experience, most time in the air, and of course the most fun!

Our instructors will tailor the class experience around individual participants, allowing them to get the maximum benefit from the time.

You can expect:
  • High quality equipment
  • Friendly, experienced instructors
  • A guided warm up
  • Techniques demonstrated to on the ground, and an opportunity for everyone to try before climbing up.
  • A safe learning environment - two instructors looking after each participant throughout their flight.
...and, of course, if someone successfully completes a trick, he or she will have the opportunity to be caught 'Red-Handed' at the end of the session!
